Wyoming
I like the Police blotter in Bozeman. But Cheyenne is Hick-Town also. Feel bad about the horse, though.
Horse Hit on Lincolnway
Cheyenne - 11/13/2010
Earlier Saturday night two intoxicated males were riding a horse going South on Pinion. However they lost control of the horse, resulting in the animal to run onto East Lincolnway.
A Dodge Durango, heading eastbound on East Lincolnway tried to swerve away from the animal, but due to the snowy conditions was unable to move away in time, and struck it.
As the horse was hit, the two males were thrown off the horse. Both were not injured, and the driver of the car was also not injured.
Unfortunately, the horse died on scene.
The two males were charged with public intoxication.

The return of song lyrics
That's what you say
Does it really happen to you
Does that explain
This is the season
for this display.
To take a look
In time to move together
Chorus:
Time is the measure
before it's begun
Slips away like running water
Live for the pleasure,
live by the gun
Heritage for sun and daughter
Down to the slaughter
up for the fun
Up for anything.
Could this be true
Does it ever happen to you
And can you prove
That wheels go
'round in reason
You take a step
In time,
To move together
Chorus
You walk, the way
You take, the path
To be, assured
You draw, a graph
The scale, you use
Is all, on black
Be brave, the weight
Will make, the heat
There is, no way
To take-it back.
Repeat chorus
Lyrics: Does it Really Happen?, Yes [end]

Stagecoach rules of conduct
Wells-Fargo Company
Notice to Passengers of This Stage Line
Adherence to the following rules will insure a pleasant trip for all:
Abstinence from liquor is requested, but if you must drink, share the bottle. To do otherwise makes you appear selfish and unneighborly.
If ladies are present, gentlemen are urged to forgo smoking cigars and pipes as the odor of same is repugnant to the gentle sex. Chewing tobacco is permitted, but spit with the wind, not against it.
Gentlemen must refrain from the use of rough language in the presence of ladies and children.
Buffalo robes are provided for your comfort during cold weather. Hogging robes will not be tolerated and the offender will be made to ride with the driver.
Don’t snore loudly while sleeping or use your fellow passenger’s shoulder for a pillow; he (or she) may not understand and friction may result.
Firearms may be kept on your person for use in emergencies. Do not fire them for pleasure or shoot at wild animals as the sound riles the horses.
In the event of runaway horses, remain calm. Leaping from the coach in panic will leave you injured, at the mercy of the elements, hostile Indians, and hungry coyotes.
Forbidden topics of conversation are stagecoach robberies and Indian uprisings.
Gents guilty of unchivalrous behavior toward lady passengers will be put off the stage. It’s a long walk back. A word to the wise is sufficient.
